Our projects


Family Health International (FHI)

Relationship of New Light and FHI is since 2004, the first project was for two years. With the help of that project New Light established its third office in Multan. Activities of that project were focused in geographical areas of Multan, Lahore and Rawalpindi

Punjab AIDS Control Program (PACP) (November 2005 - April 2007)

HIV and AIDS Advocacy Program, it was a joint project with another PLHA organization supported by PACP. The aim of this project was to reach out at least 150 persons as target audience at community level. Target audiences selected for this purpose include family members of PLHA, beauticians & hair dressers, religious leaders (Muslim & Christian), students and youth groups.

International Treatment Preparedness Coalition (ITPC)

Relationship with ITPC started with participation of NLACS in the international meeting held in South Africa in 2003. ITPC started its small grant program for South Asia Region in 2005. The first project of New Light with ITPC started in August 2005.

Voluntary Services Overseas (VSO)(March 2006 - September 2009)

Collaboration of VSO and NLACS started in the year 2005 with a gap identification meeting. The purpose of the meeting was to identify the gaps for which New Light need assistance from VSO.

Catholic Relief Services (CRS)

CRS is the first organization to support New Light in 2001. Since then CRS is the regular partner in providing Treatment, Care and Support services to People Living with HIV and AIDS. The project was started with the support of 16 HIV positive persons in 2001. In the year 2002 CRS helped in establishing an office in Rawalpindi.
